Sr Solution Architect

About

In this Sr Solution Architect role, you will drive data analytics solutions for FSI customers in Zurich using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You’ll partner with account teams to shape engagement strategies and act as a trusted advisor through complex, multi-stakeholder engagements. You’ll coach junior architects, run customer-facing workshops, and influence technical decisions across cloud ecosystems. This role offers opportunities to advance across tracks in technical specialization, thought leadership, strategic vision, or people management, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and the sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity
• Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives through relationship-building and team orchestration
• Experience coding in Python, Java, or Scala; willingness to learn Spark
• Hands-on expertise with PoCs and public cloud platforms; able to demonstrate the art of the possible on a modern coding platform
• Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape
• Experience in the regulated FSI vertical is advantageous
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
