Do you want to be part of an innovative and rapidly growing business? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Special Projects Lead with strong business acumen and a high bar to join the AWS Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team. 3PX was conceived from the belief that many current and future AWS customers can realize more value from cloud by deepening their relationships with the AWS Private Pricing Program, and this role will help drive the growth and scale of Private Pricing through cross‑functional and highly‑visible initiatives.

In this role you will drive growth of the Private Pricing Program by defining and delivering strategies that transform how customers discover, engage with and choose Private Pricing. You will partner with stakeholder teams across AWS to assert your vision, drive consensus and bring your vision to life, deepening customer relationships and enriching our understanding of their needs. You will also help increase the size of the Private Pricing customer base, fueling AWS growth, and scale the program by improving the customer experience to minimize friction and improve business outcomes for both the customer and AWS.

  • Define and drive strategies that transform how customers discover, engage with and choose the AWS Private Pricing Program.
  • Continuously inspect and learn from metrics and anecdotes, and run experiments to obtain learnings and insights quickly in order to continuously improve.
  • Ruthlessly (re)prioritize based on quick learnings and optimize efforts and resources for impact on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage stakeholders and senior leadership to propose ideas, gain alignment and report on progress.

About the Team

3PX is part of the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization, responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program, which offers AWS customers commercial benefits in exchange for multi‑year spend commitments. The program enables enterprise customers to accelerate their cloud transformation journeys through multi‑year commitments, receiving pricing discounts, access to services, and opportunities to innovate with AWS.

Within GDSP, you will develop deep expertise in cloud economics, hone strategic thinking, and directly impact AWS’s market leadership while working with cutting‑edge technologies and global clients.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Go‑To‑Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong English‑language communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience working with fast‑moving, high‑performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments.
  • Knowledge of UX and/or CX design and usability.
  • Experience developing successful marketing or communications campaigns.
  • Experience working closely with and advising senior executives of an organization or equivalent.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience building cross‑functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization without a direct reporting relationship.

  • Base salary range (varies by location): e.g., San Francisco $162,700 – $220,200 annually; Chicago $147,900 – $200,100 annually; etc.
