In this role you shape Seagate’s narrative by translating complex technology into clear, credible stories for customers, partners, analysts, and media. You will lead cross-functional corporate and brand communications, executive thought leadership, and industry analyst relations in a fast‑moving, global tech environment. You’ll partner with senior leaders across marketing, legal, HR, and regional teams to protect and enhance long‑term reputation. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated corporate communications strategies aligned to business priorities and brand positioning
- Translate complex technology topics into clear external narratives
- Lead corporate communications initiatives and media relations to secure top‑tier tech press results
- Ensure message consistency across press, owned channels, executive platforms, and stakeholders
- Define and lead global analyst relations strategy and engagement models
- Serve as senior contact for priority analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, IDC, Forrester, Everest, Moor Insights, Futurum)
- Build and maintain relationships with leading technology analysts across regions
- Lead analyst briefings, deep‑dive sessions, inquiry programs, and executive engagements
- Translate tech topics into narratives for business, financial, and technical audiences
- Demonstrate relationships with top‑tier business and technology media; lead proactive media outreach
- Support crisis and issues management planning and response
- Partner with executives to elevate visibility through media, speaking engagements, and external platforms
- Develop executive messaging, briefing materials, Q&A, and spokesperson readiness
- Support executive social media and long‑form thought leadership content
- Collaborate with marketing, investor relations, government relations, legal, HR, and regional teams
- Manage agency partners and vendors as needed
- Contribute to measurement and reporting of impact and strategy
Requirements
- Extensive experience in corporate communications or related fields
- Proven leadership of media relations, industry analyst relations, and corporate programs in large organizations
- Strong writing and editing skills for executive and external audiences
- Experience developing conference/event plans and executing aligned with leadership goals
- Experience supporting executive communications and high‑visibility initiatives
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate under pressure
