About

Client needs a seasoned PM that has led complex IT projects from a technical standpoint to come in and help with implementing complex systems within a pharmaceutical setting. They have a lot of new Systems builds and new data in the pipeline.

Job description/Scope of work

• Project Leadership, Stakeholder/Vendor Management and Delivery
• Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements and within cross-functional teams through facilitation of project meetings, workshops, and reviews.
• Collaborate and align with internal and external stakeholders/vendor teams, while monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and executing on-time and within budget.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business requirements and workflows specific to CDO and PPM processes.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Ensure solutions align with pharmaceutical industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Monitor and report project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans, providing timely updates to project teams and leadership.
• Manage financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking project costs and collaboration with finance teams.
• Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of novel solutions and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in project management in pharmaceutical R&D / IT-enabled environments.
• Technical Skills (MUST): Strong understanding and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Azur, Ariba, JIRA
• Nice to have: Veeva Implementations / Integrations
• PMP certification (Nice to have)
