Senior Technology Engineer (DevOps PaaS)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior DevOps Engineer to support Agile squads. This role involves building and executing application pipelines, automating deployments, and enabling platform onboarding via self-service and automation. You will work across cross-functional teams in a modern DevOps environment, embracing Agile, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Groovy, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Automate deployments using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security across environments.
• Work with API integration, authentication (OAuth2.0), and microservice security.
• Implement logging/monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Guide application teams in adopting DevOps practices and onboarding to PaaS.
• Deliver and support full lifecycle projects from initiation to post-go-live.
• Align with DevOps and SRE principles including 12-factor app practices.
• Support incident management and troubleshooting across environments.
• Act as a trusted partner to internal platform/product teams.
• Ensure clear communication, improving visibility across tech stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of organizational values and engineering best practices.

Experience & Education

• 8+ years overall experience in an engineering role.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a hands-on DevOps role.
• Experience in large, complex enterprises with high availability and scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or Information Technology.

Technical Skills

• Strong CI/CD experience with tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus, & Nexus-IQ.
• Hands-on experience with container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience working with HelmCharts for packaging and deploying Kubernetes applications.
• Expertise in IaC tools like Terraform, Bicep, and automation scripting (Groovy, Python).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools, including Checkmarx, Sysdig, Nexus-IQ, Cosign for security scanning and image signing.
• Proficiency in GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or OCI (compute, networking, storage).
• Experience developing and integrating APIs into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• API development and pipeline integration experience.
• Debugging and production support capabilities.
