Akkodis is seeking a SSIS Developer/ ETL Developer/ Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Rosemont, IL(Remote). The candidate with a strong background in designing, building, and optimizing end‑to‑end data pipelines for ODS, staging, and enterprise data warehouses.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain batch ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server and SSIS to support ODS, staging, and enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and T‑SQL scripts to ensure high‑performance data processing and analysis.
- Develop and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Star and Snowflake schemas to support reporting and analytical needs.
- Design and manage end‑to‑end data pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, validation, and loading across multiple environments.
- Implement data quality, audit, balance, and control mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and adhere to best‑in‑class data engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in SSIS, SQL Server, and data warehousing/ETL development.
- Strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing batch ETL/ELT processes and enterprise data pipelines using SSIS and T‑SQL.
- Proven experience implementing data warehouse solutions (Star/Snowflake schemas), data modeling, and data quality, audit, and control mechanisms.
