About the role
About Us
We’re a growing CPA firm specializing in tax preparation, accounting services, and financial reporting, with some audit work as well. We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to support one of our CPAs, alongside two or three other administrative team members.
What you’ll do
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Handle monthly bookkeeping and accounting for clients
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Support audit engagements when needed
- Work directly with a CPA on client deliverables and deadlines
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of accounting or tax experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience is a plus)
- Team player who can manage multiple priorities during tax season
