Staff Accountant

SupplyOne is seeking a diligent, detail oriented, and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Strategic Account Services team. This role is responsible for recording and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable on a daily basis, and supporting month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and works effectively in a team environment to support the overall financial management of the Strategic Accounts entity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Record all vendor invoices and initiate payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Accounts Receivable: Post customer payments and develop a strong understanding of the company’s shared bank accounts to efficiently monitor the overall AR position of the Strategic Accounts entity.
• Reconciliations: Perform key monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Month-End Close: Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and intercompany activity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
• Abilities: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.

The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training.
