About the role

Role Overview: You will be joining the finance team in a shared service setup, supporting the group finance team in the US for a leader in the research industry. As a Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant, your role will involve supporting the preparation of SEC filings and IFRS statutory financial statements, collaborating with various teams for financial data validation, ensuring SOX compliance, and assisting with external audits and key reporting projects.

Key Responsibilities: - Support preparation of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and IFRS statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. - Prepare and review disclosures, tie-outs, stock compensation calculations, and supporting schedules for external reporting. - Collaborate with Investor Relations, Treasury, subsidiaries, and auditors to validate financial data and support the quarterly close process. - Ensure SOX compliance by executing and documenting internal controls over financial reporting. - Assist with external audits, technical accounting initiatives, and key reporting projects.

Qualifications Required: - CA Preferred - Strong educational background in accounting or finance. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Familiarity with accounting principles (IFRS and USGAAP) - Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
