Responsibilities
- Shape the technical foundation and architecture of products that reach and impact thousands of users every day
- Evolve and scale our software systems to ensure long‑term reliability, performance, and sustainability
- Guide engineering teams through complex technical choices, providing clarity and enabling delivery
- Set the standard for code quality, engineering best practices, and system performance across the organization
- Mentor and inspire other engineers, fostering growth, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to turn ideas into robust, user‑centric solutions
- Champion a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and engineering excellence that drives both people and products forward
Requirements
- Extensive experience in professional software engineering, including leading complex technical initiatives and driving impactful projects
- Deep expertise in system architecture, scalable systems, and performance optimization
- Fluency in modern programming practices and hands‑on experience across both frontend and backend technologies; reliably complete tasks you have started
- Proven track record of guiding engineering teams through technical trade‑offs and high‑stakes architectural choices
- Experience mentoring and inspiring engineers at all levels, fostering growth, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence
- Clear communication and effective collaboration across teams, disciplines, and stakeholders
- Ambition stronger than ego; you thrive in a young, highly ambitious team
- Passion for continuous learning and shaping an engineering culture that combines innovation with long‑term sustainability
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends and know when to adopt them, or when to question the hype
