Staff Engineer

About

Working under the direction of a Professional Engineer, the duties for this position include:

Responsibilities

• Preparation of structural construction drawings utilizing AutoCad and Revit for new commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects, as well as the renovation of existing facilities.
• Preparation of accurate and thorough design calculations for foundations and framing members in new commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects, as well as the renovation of existing facilities.
• Assisting in the performance of forensic analysis of existing structures.
• Preparation of structural review and forensic review reports.
• Performance of construction administration for new construction (including shop drawing review and site visits).
• Performance of Special Inspections for new construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Engineer in Training Registration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
