As an Engineer Component Verification in our Research & Development team, you'll merge creativity with technical expertise to shape the future of technology, drive groundbreaking projects, and bring new ideas to life.

Your Role

  • Validating analog‑mixed‑signal microcontroller devices on manufactured hardware through investigating their electrical characteristics
  • Setting up measurement equipment (hardware) and test program environment (software) for mixed‑signal verification of expected functionality in a lab environment
  • Partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to define reusable test concepts and automation, driving alignment via technical reviews, and integrating feedback
  • Leveraging AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GPT/Copilot) for test development and documentation; building agentic workflows for test generation, execution, triage, and reporting (big plus)
  • Reviewing existing characterization methodologies and introducing new approaches to improve coverage, robustness, and reuse
  • Leading and mentoring junior engineers and supervising students

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information and Communication Technology (or a comparable field)
  • Several years of professional experience related to semiconductor test, characterization or product development/validation
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, MATLAB or similar) with a focus on test/automation in lab environments
  • Hands‑on expertise in electrical measurements and lab test setup to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements
  • Strong experience with Git‑based development, PR‑based collaboration, and CI/CD
  • Confident use of LLM tools (GPT/Copilot) in day‑to‑day engineering; experience building agentic automation flows is a strong plus
  • Nice to have: Exposure to automotive communication protocols and related transceivers; basic ability to support physical‑layer and system debugging in the lab
  • Fluent English skills required; German language skills are beneficial but not mandatory
