Job Summary

• Provide senior technical leadership for backend Java development supporting Workflow Orchestration Initiatives (e.g., Appian platform).
• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure Java backend services and microservices.
• Define and enforce backend architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices for workflow-centric solutions.
• Collaborate closely with workflow platform and engineering teams to deliver robust APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Drive integration with enterprise systems using REST, messaging, and event-driven patterns.
• Partner with product, infrastructure, security, and data teams for end-to-end solution alignment.
• Support CI/CD processes, DevSecOps practices, observability, and automated testing for backend services.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and promote engineering excellence.
• Contribute to the Payment BU Workflow Intelligence and Optimization Initiative.
• Ensure backend solutions are reusable, high-quality, and aligned with workflow-driven automation requirements.
