Finance & Accounting Specialist

About

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations, cash management, reconciliations, and month-end financial reporting in a fast-paced financial environment. This will be a 2-3 month contract with possibility of extension. In office 2 days a week; pay rate ranges from $30-45 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash balance and balance sheet reports
• Monitor account activity and process wire transfers
• Reconcile transactions and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end journal entries and financial reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting or financial operations experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Experience with general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Pay

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
