Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements to define software design and performance criteria.
• Design and develop new software or enhance existing applications to incorporate new features.
• Integrate software with new or modified systems and operating environments.
• Create and review software and system documentation.
• Lead project teams in line with the software development process.
• Design complex database interfaces and queries.
• Develop algorithms to meet system performance standards.
• Assist in testing software components and procedures.
• Identify and resolve issues through system analysis and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Enhance existing software for corrections, adaptations to new hardware, or performance improvements.
• Use scientific analysis to inform software design and modifications.
• Implement recommendations for improving documentation and development processes.
• Coordinate software installations and monitor systems to meet operational specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

• 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active security clearance with a polygraph.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Poly SP

Work Environment: This position requires onsite work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Salary Range: The annual base salary for this role is between $150,800 - $265,880, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
