What You’ll Do as a Staff Software Development Engineer at Arteris
Join our innovative team and help shape the future of semiconductor technology, specifically system-on-chip (SoC) and chiplets. In this role, you will lead and contribute to the development of an advanced software stack dedicated to the configuration and evaluation of Arteris’ next-generation cost-effective Network-on-Chip (NoC) solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the development of an advanced software stack for the configuration and evaluation of a new generation of Arteris cost-effective NoC
- Define user workflows in close cooperation with Marketing and Field Application Engineering (FAE) teams
- Specify interoperability layers between this software and other Arteris applications, particularly SystemC models of the NoC IP
- Specify, design, and lead the development of backend and frontend components of the application
- Communicate effectively with other teams to ensure product cohesion and alignment
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in web technologies architecture and development, including backend, frontend, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and UX design
- Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java, C++, Python, or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Scala, Rust, or Kotlin
- Experience in digital system modeling (SystemC, TLM)
- EDA background with the ability to understand the fundamental paradigms of the SoC design process
- Experience with digital hardware generators, methodologies, and concepts
Education Requirements
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Compensation
- Estimated Base Salary: 55,000 € à 70,000€ annually. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
