As our Staff Software Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by
- Collaborate actively with all members of the Agile team
- Contribute to developing new product features.
- Java development
- Unit & integration tests implementation
- Troubleshooting & bug fixes
- Technical documentation
Your Experience and Background include
- Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Around 2 years of working experience in Java development
- Strong experience with Java development
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment
Nice to have:
- Experience with UI frameworks (Angular)
- Experience with automation (Jenkins, Robot Framework)
- Knowledge of deployment environments such as:
- Containers, Kubernetes
- Awareness of DevOps best practices
- Awareness of secure programming (OWASP Top 10, vulnerabilities)
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
