Air Liquide France Industrie brings together the production and marketing of industrial gases in France with four complementary business lines : Large Industry, Industrial Merchant, Electronics and Hydrogen. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

You will participate in transforming technical information management for field technicians working on customer sites (Engineering, Maintenance, and Gas Logistics Services on customer sites).

The challenge is to move from static and voluminous documentation to an Interactive Intelligent Assistant capable of assisting with diagnostics and the application of safety standards, assembly, and safety rules.

Under the responsibility of the EIM France Operations Director and in collaboration with the maintenance, engineering, and service team, you will ensure the following missions:

• Data Audit: Conduct a complete mapping of data sources, including unstructured "knowledge" (PDF plans, manufacturer notices, reports) and structured "signal" (ERP data, IoT sensors, PLCs).
• Hybrid Architecture: Design a system operating between the Cloud (for model training) and the Edge (Android tablets in the field), with an offline mode essential for areas without network.
• RAG Implementation: Develop a Retrieval Augmented Generation architecture to transform technical knowledge into mathematical vectors (embeddings) and enable natural querying of documents.
• Conversational AI Interface: Create a chatbot capable of answering precise technical questions by systematically citing the exact source from the manual to avoid any "hallucination".
• Field User Experience (UX): Develop an interface adapted to industrial constraints (use with gloves, noisy environment) including voice dictation and "step-by-step" troubleshooting guides.
• Managerial Steering Tools: Design a dashboard to track the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of installations and analyze recurring failures.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure the isolation of network flows (industrial cybersecurity) and the anonymization of personal data in accordance with GDPR.
• Performance Measurement: Evaluate the project's effectiveness through precise indicators such as the reduction in Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and the first-time fix rate.
• Final Deliverables: Produce an audit report, a functional proof of concept (POC) on an Android tablet, and the technical specifications for future system industrialization.
