At the Innovation Directorate, we conduct research projects across a wide range of experimental fields and sectors. These innovative projects, developed in teams, are supervised by our experts within the ALTEN Labs (IDF, Toulouse, Grenoble, Rennes, and Sophia Antipolis), and aim to address our clients' challenges by providing them with original and disruptive technological solutions.

Within our Sophia-Antipolis Lab, you will be supported by an Innovation Pilot (Project Manager) to develop your skills on the following project activities.

Project: Meta-learning

The objective of this internship is to integrate the work of a PhD student into an existing MLOps platform. This work primarily focuses on ensemble methods and AutoML for tabular classification problems. You will work with this PhD student to adapt and develop various Python modules within a platform written in C#.

Missions

• Collaborate with the PhD student and the platform development team to integrate these new components
• Adapt existing Python code into modules compatible with the platform
• Adapt platform components to better integrate these new components
• Demonstrate the utility of the new components on a use case
• Document the integration and induced changes

Qualifications

• Student in the final year of an Engineering school seeking a final study internship, with a specialization in Data Science or Machine Learning.
• Solid knowledge of Python and C#.
• Understanding of MLOps fundamentals and experience with libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn, as well as web frameworks like Blazor.
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and the VS Code environment.
• Reactive, rigorous, autonomous, and service-oriented, you wish to evolve in a challenging environment.
