Zyra Financial is an early-stage startup looking for a scrappy recruiter who can move fast, figure things out independently, and consistently find strong talent without relying on expensive recruiter tools or massive budgets.
The initial focus will be hiring in South Africa, with expansion into the USA, Europe, and other regions as business needs evolve.
This is a high-autonomy role for someone who enjoys fast-moving environments.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Scrappy Sourcing: Find and engage strong candidates using creative outbound—think X-raying, niche communities, and social sourcing.
- Pipeline Ownership: Build and own candidate pipelines for priority roles across South Africa, the US, and Europe.
- High-Grit Vetting: Screen for attitude and execution. You need to identify "operators" who can handle chaos, not just people who interview well.
- High-Conversion Outreach: Write outreach sequences that actually get replies from high-level passive candidates.
What We Look For
- Scrappy Operator: You know how to find quality people without relying on LinkedIn Recruiter seats, expensive job boards, or a massive sourcing budget.
- Fast-Moving & Independent: You thrive in high-autonomy environments and don’t need constant direction to execute.
- Global Context: You understand the nuances of the US/UK/EU talent markets and have hired in South Africa for international firms.
- Recruiter Instincts: You can read people quickly and communicate effectively across different cultures and seniority levels.
- Leverage AI: You use LLMs to automate research, sourcing, and outreach to work faster.
- Infrastructure: Reliable laptop, stable fiber internet, professional headset, and backup power (UPS/inverter) required
