Within the newly created IT department, we are an innovative area driving data-driven decisions in Business Intelligence (BI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Your Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of data pipelines using Databricks on AWS and dbt for BI and AI use cases, including versioning and deployment via Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure automation and deployment of cloud resources with Terraform
• Ensuring data quality, consistency, and scalability of the data infrastructure
• Close collaboration with Data Scientists, IT Architects, BI Analysts, other Data Engineers, and business units to enable data-driven solutions and analyses
• Participation in defining standards, best practices, and governance guidelines for the data platform

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience with Cloud Data Engineering, particularly with dbt, Git, and Databricks on AWS, as well as knowledge of SQL and Python
• Several years of experience in the financial services sector
• Experience with agile working/agile projects
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for data-driven solutions
• Team player with good communication skills and a solution-oriented as well as independent way of working
