About the role
Minimum Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics (preferred)
- 5–10 years’ warehouse/stores management experience
- Forklift license (essential); reach truck license (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, equipment, and barcoding
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, dispatch)
- Manage stock control, cycle counts, and annual stock takes
- Ensure accurate barcoding, bin locations, and inventory systems
- Supervise container handling, storage, and equipment usage
- Oversee forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and general equipment maintenance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards (including inspections)
- Manage stores staff and drivers (training, scheduling, performance)
- Coordinate logistics, dispatch, and receiving operations
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation
