Job Summary
The Stormwater Solutions Engineer III will work with specifying Engineers and Contractors to develop unique design solutions, ensuring that project BMPs meet the regulatory‑guided stormwater and treatment requirements. Solutions Engineers proactively engage with the area sales teams to establish and build relationships with civil engineering customers, function as a technical resource to the Customer and Engineers, and meet the commercial objectives of the company.

Responsibilities
- Determine and develop the most effective site solution utilizing a suite of Stormwater product offerings.
- Present project‑specific solutions to civil engineering specifiers.
- Provide design calculations and drawings for integration into civil engineering plans to secure product solutions on site plans.
- Respond to civil engineers on project‑specific inquiries and industry questions, including local stormwater regulations.
- Establish and maintain rapport with civil engineer specifiers.
- Support area and internal team members to achieve team goals.
- Assist the sales team during the project bid phase by providing design review and confirming appropriate product solution design.
- Partner with local manufacturing facilities to drive standard designs with focus on utilization of available form assets.
- Provide project and technical support for submittal drawings, calculations, regulatory approvals, production, and product delivery.
- Maintain engineering standards and procedures for the team.
- Record project information accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 4+ years experience with solid technical background in drainage design, water resources, land development, or similar field.
- Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation and plans.
- Capable of interpreting and executing regulatory‑guided site design requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communicator and organized.
- Enthusiasm and passion for the business and achieving organizational goals.
- Collaborative mindset: share thoughts openly, accept new ideas, and get the job done in a highly interactive process.
- Professional Engineering License (Preferred).
- Experience with: AutoCAD, BIM, SWMM, Microsoft Office, HydroCAD (Preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Target salary: $90,000 – $105,000 per year.
