Job Summary

The Strategic Account Executive plays a pivotal role in mastering SHI's value proposition to drive revenue and enhance our market presence, developing progressive sales strategies that support both new and existing customers. You will identify high-value opportunities, foster executive-level relationships, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to present SHI’s full range of solutions.

Beyond traditional Account Executive duties, this position is crucial for strategic business development, particularly in expanding SHI's partnerships with Global System Integrators (GSIs). You will develop co-marketing strategies, navigate complex buying cycles, and build deep, multi-tiered relationships to unlock new revenue streams.

This position is remote and requires residence in the United States, with up to 50% travel expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Development: Identify, nurture, and grow partnerships with leading Global System Integrators (GSIs) to drive SHI's long-term growth. Build and execute strategic account plans that align with SHI's global vision.
  • Sales Execution & Opportunity Management: Leverage SHI's value proposition to consistently exceed sales goals. Proactively identify impactful opportunities through outreach and industry networking, collaborating with sales management on priority initiatives.
  • Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with both existing customers and new prospects, engaging senior stakeholders within GSI and customer organizations.
  • Solution Positioning: Communicate SHI's comprehensive portfolio of IT solutions effectively, aligning recommendations with customer strategies and business priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal support teams and partners to launch joint initiatives and gain stakeholder buy-in on strategic GSI engagements.
  • Market Presence & Continuous Learning: Enhance market visibility by participating in industry events and stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and market nuances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
  • 3-5 years of successful sales experience
  • Ability to meet 50% of work time outside of an office setting

The estimated annual pay range for this role is $120,000 - $250,000, including a mix of base salary and commissions, depending on the candidate's skills, experience, and market location.
