Strategic Program Manager (SPM) – Honors Program Computer Science (m/f/d)

Role Description

As a Strategic Program Manager (SPM) – Honors Program Computer Science (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and further development of the Honors Program in Computer Science. Your tasks include organizing and coordinating program activities, collaborating with faculty members and students, and monitoring projects and budgets. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing innovative concepts to promote excellence in computer science.

This full-time position is located on-site at Saarland University in Saarland.

Qualifications

• Strategic management and project leadership: Sound experience in strategy development, project management, and leading projects in academic or related fields.
• Communication and collaboration: Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as collaboration with various stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams.
• Computer science concepts and technology knowledge: Understanding of core computer science concepts and interest in current industry developments. Experience in educational management is an advantage.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills: Structured way of working, a high degree of initiative, and the ability to solve complex challenges.

A completed degree, preferably in computer science, management, or a related field, as well as knowledge of working with digital tools and programs would be desirable. Experience in a university environment is a plus.
