We believe that true excellence can only be achieved through a harmonious combination of skills, values, and ambitions.
About the Company
Our client is a European industrial group in the packaging sector within a private equity environment, headquartered in Vienna with a clearly defined EMEA footprint. The company is at a strategic turning point: the group structure has been consistently sharpened, the operational focus set, and the course is oriented towards transformation, value creation, and exit readiness. They are looking for an analytically strong, entrepreneurially thinking personality who will not only think along but actively shape the highly ambitious PE environment.
Your Role
As a Strategic Transformation Manager (m/f/d), you will actively shape the ongoing company transformation. You will work closely with group management, develop value creation strategies, and drive their operational implementation at the interface of consulting methodology and industrial reality.
What to Expect:
- Accompanying and managing company-wide transformation projects – from strategic conception to operational implementation, with a focus on restructuring, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
- Translating strategic objectives into concrete measures and driving their implementation in close coordination with the responsible departments.
- Analyzing complex data, identifying deviations, and deriving well-founded recommendations for management.
- Developing and maintaining business cases, financial models, and KPI systems for steering and measuring the success of ongoing initiatives.
- Independently managing (partial) projects – from planning and documentation to presenting results at the C-level.
- Actively driving digitalization, automation, and lean initiatives using classic and agile project management methodologies.
- Serving as a reliable interface between strategy and operations – with the aim of not just thinking things through but consistently implementing them.
What You Should Bring:
- 3-4 years of experience in a renowned management consultancy with a proven focus on transformation, change management, restructuring, or operational excellence.
- Initial project experience in industrial environments – ideally packaging, chemicals, automotive, or FMCG.
- Above-average Master's or diploma degree from a renowned university; an MBA or international experience is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of business case development, financial modeling, and KPI systems and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in classic and agile project management methods, data analysis, and structured documentation.
- C-level communication and presentation skills, as well as experience in direct interaction with management.
- Assertiveness with diplomatic skill and strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Resilience, intellectual curiosity, and reliability – even in dynamic, ambitious environments.
- Fluent English is required; German is a clear advantage.
Our Offer:
- Attractive fixed salary.
- Performance-oriented bonus.
- Attractive additional benefits (e.g., company pension scheme, flexible working models).
- International career perspectives within a fast-growing PE corporate group.
- Direct access to strategic decision-makers at the group level.
The compensation is based on qualifications and professional experience. The annual gross salary for the position ranges from approximately EUR 70,000 to EUR 90,000, depending on qualifications.
