Internal Sales Executive & Interior Designer (Furniture Industry)

About Us

We are a high-end Home and Office furniture brand with a newly launched showroom and warehouse in Midrand, Johannesburg. Our focus is on B2B wholesale growth, while also nurturing relationships with local Architect company, designers, and furniture networks across South Africa.

As we expand, we are seeking a talented lady or gentleman with a background in interior design to take on an exciting Internal Sales Executive role — blending product knowledge, client care, and creative collaboration

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and manage a national distributor network
• Actively seek out and on-board sales agents and wholesale clients
• Maintain strong B2B relationships with retailers, agents, and industry professionals
• Upsell and cross-sell within existing client base through strong product knowledge

Client Engagement & Design Support

• Host and consult with clients and designers in the showroom
• Offer product guidance and assist with interior styling where relevant
• Create a welcoming showroom experience that aligns with high-end service standards

Inventory & Reporting

• Oversee stock management and showroom display coordination
• Keep accurate records of sales, transactions, and client activity
• Conduct market research to inform pricing and product range strategies

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the furniture industry
• Proven experience in B2B wholesale or interior design consultancy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service and market development ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bonus: Graphic design or basic page layout/editing experience

Package & Remuneration

Salary: R17, 500 Basic + Commission (NEGOTIABLE)
