Our Workforce Solutions group works with customers across western Canada to recruit qualified candidates for assignments ranging from emergency callouts to longer term contingent workforce solutions. Our customers rely on us for operational staff, including plant/field operators, turnaround staff, administration and camp support staff.
In addition to fulfilling the operating needs of oil and gas producing, midstream and pipeline companies, Roska operates, designs and builds well-site facilities, rents equipment and provides production testing and flowback services using a company-owned well testing fleet. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a structural inspection program for a brown field facility
- Structures to be assessed include pipe racks, conveyors, slurry towers, overhead cranes, hoppers, etc.
- Inspection program to be cost effective, data driven and optimized to mitigate risks associated with running plant conditions
- Regularly communicate with members of the various Business Unit Teams to determine what engineering support they require.
- Understand the status of various projects which may affect structural components in the different plants
Education, Training, Certifications
- Engineering Degree is required, preferably Civil/Structural
- Registered as a professional engineer in Alberta with APEGA.
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required; 5 - 10 years of experience working in an operational oil and gas facility with Professional Engineer designation is preferred.
- Previous experience working in an operational facility, with direct interaction with Operations and Maintenance Personnel is essential.
- Familiar with WCB and Alberta OH&S Rules and Regulations.
