Student trainee for AI Tooling & Automation in Embedded Systems

Your role in the team

• You support our Embedded Systems department in the introduction and application of AI-based development tools such as GitHub Copilot, AI Agents, and similar solutions.
• You work on internal tools and automation solutions to make our development processes more efficient.
• You identify, together with our teams, meaningful applications of AI in software development, testing, documentation, and other engineering processes.
• You are involved in the prototypical implementation and evaluation of AI-supported solutions to optimize our tool landscape and workflows.
• You contribute your ideas to development projects for power electronic solutions and actively help shape innovative technologies for the energy supply of tomorrow.

Qualifications

• You are studying Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a comparable course of study.
• You have solid knowledge of Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
• You are interested in the use of artificial intelligence in software development and automation topics.
• You are familiar with version control, especially Git.
• You approach technical questions analytically, structurally, and creatively.
• You enjoy working independently and value collaboration within interdisciplinary and intercultural teams.

Experience

• Ideally, you have some experience with GitHub Copilot, scripting, tooling, or automated workflows.
