ETH Zürich

About the role

About

The VSETH - Verband der Studierenden an der ETH Zürich is the university policy representation of approximately 25,000 students at ETH Zurich. At the same time, with its commissions and student associations, it is omnipresent in student life outside the lecture halls, organizes various events, and offers a variety of services.

To make this possible, around 2,000 volunteers regularly rely on VSETH's IT infrastructure. This infrastructure covers many very specific needs, from the requirements of our 17 student associations representing students in ETH departments to the needs of our commissions, such as the helpline run by volunteers (Nightline).

The operation, further development, and support of this infrastructure take place within the IT Service Group (ISG). The existing infrastructure is aging and is currently being replaced.
