Substation Electrical Integration Engineer - Protection and Control (SCADA)

Introduction

Substation Electrical Integration Engineer urgently required to design, implement, install and commission substation protection, integration and SCADA systems, providing on-site support to clients.

Duties & Responsibilities • Design and specify substation and network communications architectures • Test and commission complete communications and integration solutions • Protection testing • Configuration of substation and network SCADA applications for equipment monitoring, remote control of primary switching devices, data logging and generating alerts, interactive plant diagrams, automation functions and scripts, energy management functionality and communications gateway • Training of relevant client staff members • Equipment repairs and testing • Product support • Assist in project management where required

Desired Experience & Qualification • Experience in electrical utility SCADA and communications • Relevant Electrical qualification • Communication networking and software programming experience • Own vehicle with valid licence
