For the "Receivers and Exciters Engineering" department, we are looking for a "Subsystem Engineering Architect & Manager (w/m/d)" at the Ulm site as soon as possible. The "Receivers & Exciters" department develops innovative solutions and realizes outstanding products in the field of signal generation and signal reception for state-of-the-art RADAR and EW systems. The area of responsibility includes, among other things, the design, conception, implementation, and verification of high-frequency subsystems in terms of time, cost, and quality. Through close integration within the project team and customer-oriented thinking and action, we at HENSOLDT Sensors are a reliable and competent partner for the realization of high-performance electronic systems of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Technical management, coordination of activities in the development team, leadership/execution of subsystem integration and verification in the area of next-generation ground-based radars
• Design, development, and verification of RF subsystems, taking into account internal development processes, including technical documentation
• Simulation and analysis of subsystems and their interaction within the system, development of innovative subsystem concepts
• Creation of requirement documents in the area of requirements management, derivation of requirements for subassemblies
• Coordination of subcontractor management, responsibility for delivery specifications and technical monitoring
• Creation of technical offers, cost estimates, and schedules

Requirements

• Completed studies in Electrical and Information Engineering or a comparable field
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the development of high-frequency modules and systems from planning to successful implementation
• Proven competence in the technical leadership of development teams with direct responsibility for the development results
• Relevant experience in electronic circuit development as well as experience with system modeling software (Matlab/Simulink, Genesys) are advantageous.
• Knowledge of requirements management and associated software (e.g., DOORS).
• Experience with basic procedures in the field of high-frequency measurement technology, preferably with knowledge of measurement automation
• Curiosity for new tasks, focus on efficient technical solutions, and determination
• Fluent German and English skills
