About the Role

A Success Plan Manager is responsible for defining and orchestrating Cloud Services to customers with a Max cloud subscription. As a trusted on‑site advisor, you play a crucial role in setting up and executing the customer transformation roadmap with SAP Cloud Services. Based on your SAP track record, you have both functional and/or technical experience and coordination skills to orchestrate SAP global teams and specialists to create tangible business outcomes for customers. The Success Plan Manager effectively combines the roles of a portfolio manager (identifying and prioritizing Cloud Services with customers) and service delivery manager (ensuring Cloud Services are delivered as contracted).

Responsibilities

  • Lead Max Success Plan(s)
  • Drive adoption and optimization across all customer SAP cloud solutions
  • Analyze customer situation/requirements, including business, program/project, IT, transformational, architecture, development, infrastructure, and operational topics
  • Plan engagement of Max Success Plans to match customer situation/requirements, create a value proposition, secure alignment, and manage contracts, working with account teams, solution or industry experts, partners, executives, and delivery support teams
  • Ensure engagement quality and execution of Max Success Plans, including governance, top issue/escalation management, executive reporting & presentations, resource staffing, procurement, contract management, and services delivery
  • Engineer services or resources for end‑to‑end projects or focused phased activities, covering design, optimization, assessment, technical integration, validation, operations, escalations, empower training, and workshops

Requirements

  • Strong SAP business and technical solution architecture expertise
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and de‑escalation skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, strong business acumen and presentation skills, ability to think freely and innovatively, strong cultural awareness, respect, diplomacy and professionalism
  • Highly customer‑service oriented with strong customer management skills
  • Ability to build trust‑based relationships and strong networks in customer IT/Business and SAP ecosystem
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and strong work ethic
  • Open to travel
  • Bachelor and/or Master’s degree, preferably in business, economics, computer science, or mathematics
  • Language: fluent English; Dutch is preferable

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP’s Enterprise Solutions, Industry Solutions, Platform Solutions, SaaS Solutions, third‑party and/or partner technologies
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, AI technologies, and/or SAP cloud lines of business (preferred)
  • SAP project management, value management, and quality management practices
  • Experience leading design, implementation, and change‑management projects
  • Pre‑sales, solutioning, procurement, contract lifecycles, contract renewals, and customer retention experience
  • Experience working with C‑level executives, senior leaders, influencers, and trusted advisors
