AI Software Engineer intern

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop full-stack AI-driven solutions for automated performance analysis across SAP SuccessFactors.
• Build innovative tools using Agentic AI, GenAI, and cloud-native technologies to detect, report, and resolve product performance issues.
• Analyze AI and product workflows to identify performance problems and anti-patterns automatically.
• Create AI-powered solutions for automated generation of MUPT performance testing scripts.
• Adopt the latest open-source tools and technologies within the SAP context.
• Perform debugging, problem solving, and defect/bug resolution as required.
• Apply technical knowledge to challenging programming and design problems.
• Collaborate with senior software engineers and architects, receiving daily guidance and mentorship.

About You

What you'll need:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in full-stack development using cloud-native programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience working with AI/ML, GenAI, and understanding their benefits and limitations in end-to-end workflows.
• Experience with Agentic AI is a plus.
• Experience optimizing or analyzing software components or APIs for performance, reliability, or scalability.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go, with an understanding of language execution implementations and effects on software products.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of basic Performance Engineering concepts and KPIs.
• Frontend experience, including JavaScript/Node.js and React, is a plus.
