What Drives Success
The Sustaining Engineering Supervisor leads engineers and technical support staff in developing and applying advanced mechanical engineering design methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
Duties
- Plan, conduct and technically direct projects or the major phases of significant projects.
- Coordinate the efforts of engineers and technical support staff.
- Conduct investigations or tests of considerable complexity pertaining to the development of new designs, methods and materials.
- Review literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
- Perform detailed analytical and design studies.
- Develop basic design concepts and design criteria.
What We Are Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is highly preferred.
- A master's degree in engineering is preferred.
- At least 5 years related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Comprehension of practical applications of engineering science and technology.
- Expert use of analytical and CAD software.
- Requires expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Effective in directing projects and providing work leadership.
What We Offer
Compensation
This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $115,000 - $150,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
