About the role

Duties

  • Investigates and resolves crucial financial programs, matters of a policy nature, and those affecting financial management functions.
  • Recommends policies, plans, and courses of action affecting CYBERCOM financial functions.
  • Gains understanding of CYBERCOM problems, financial requirements, and courses of action.
  • Reports on progress, status, and operation of the CYBERCOMs financial management programs.
  • Provides leadership, direction, and coordination of CYBERCOM financial management activities.
  • Plans, directs, and evaluates of professional, technical, and clerical employees engaged in these functions.
  • Plans, directs, and manages overall activities of subordinates and is responsible for the execution of administrative and personnel management responsibilities related to the accomplishments of the goals and mission of the section.

  • The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
  • The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
  • This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
  • Must be required to sign a DA Form 5019‑R (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program) and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Travel will be required approximately 10% of the time and may extend to OCONUS.
  • Telework (situational) is at the discretion of management and not guaranteed. Supervisory and employee probationary periods may be required if not already completed in accordance with 5 CFR criteria.

  • THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 3 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112‑81, Subtitle F‑Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
