Valeo Service Eastern Europe (VSEE) is a commercial and service company within the Valeo Group, operating in the automotive aftermarket across twelve countries in Central and Eastern Europe. VSEE is headquartered in Warsaw and operates a warehouse, training center, and Tech’Care technical support center in Stryków near Łódź. Position
Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer
Place of work : Valeo Service – Stryków, near Łódź
Responsibilities
- Initiate, lead and challenge PDCA‑FTA analyses with foreign and local suppliers in SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) in accordance with Valeo tools and methods to improve product quality (C1, C2, WR incidents)
- Collaborating with suppliers, other Valeo Service units and the local teams to ensure two‑way information exchange and take safety measures regarding product inspection to eliminate defective production batches (Incident Reports), respectively by SRM, Incident Report, VIM Red Alert, VIM deviation
- Initiating and overseeing the settlement of quality deficiency costs with suppliers
- Collaborating with foreign and local suppliers for ISV compliance validation of first delivery of new products in Liberation system and SAP CS / WM
- Performing physical validation of first delivery compliance for a new product
- Products inspections and reworks coordinations and organizes and supervises the temporarily blocked product on warehouse and SAP CS / WM
- Supplier audits to check corrective actions shown during analysis after quality incidents (SQA Genba Check, CCL, LLC)
Requirements
- Engineering education or technical education level proved by product and production quality work experience
- English full professional proficiency, Polish communicative level
- Work Experience 1+ years in similar position – Automotive, Industry
- Quality problem solving tools and methods such as PDCA, FTA, 5W2H, SPC, logical thinking and product quality mindset
- Interpersonal skills which bring success on this mission – demand and decisiveness approach to suppliers and quality issues, being very well organised on his/her job to tackle different tasks
- Good knowledge of Google sheets or MS Excel
- Additional advantage – knowledge of SAP CS / WM
- Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards is desirable
