Supplier Quality Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

• Implementing and continuously improving the supplier quality sub-area of the integrated management system (IMS)
• Processing deviations in the quality performance of suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with the general strategy for supplier quality
• Planning and implementing potential analyses as well as processing the supplier audit program
• Ensuring and controlling the application of prevention-oriented methods regarding supplier quality management and risk management for supplier-related processes, projects, and products
• Creating and maintaining supplier quality documents and reports
• Conducting and supporting supplier evaluations and qualifications
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions with suppliers, e.g., using 8D reports
• Coordinating and participating in supplier meetings and workshops

Qualifications

• Completed technical degree, preferably in electrical engineering, photovoltaics, renewable energies, or similar
• Experience in supplier quality required, preferably from the automotive sector
• Experience in the production of electronic components is advantageous
• Qualification as an auditor (m/f/d) in the area of supplier quality required, e.g., auditor training according to VDA 6.3 or comparable
• Knowledge of statistical methods and quality management tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA)
• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001)
• Knowledge of automotive core tools
• SAP user knowledge
• Experience with a supplier quality reporting system is desirable
• Very good German and English skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier locations
• Negotiation skills and communication strength
• Intercultural competence
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
