About the role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and insightful Supply Chain Data Analyst to join their fully remote operations. This role is pivotal in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's supply chain through advanced data analysis and strategic interpretation. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets related to logistics, inventory, and transportation to identify trends, uncover insights, and provide actionable recommendations. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics.

Key responsibilities include: Collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various supply chain sources (e.g., ERP systems, WMS, TMS). Performing complex data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in supply chain operations. Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics, inventory management, and transportation. Identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation within the supply chain. Collaborating with supply chain managers, logistics coordinators, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Developing predictive models to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve route planning. Recommending data-driven strategies to enhance supply chain performance and resilience. Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across all analyses. Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner. Essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within a supply chain or logistics context. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Expertise in Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and macros. Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and software (e.g., R, Python). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling remote collaboration with diverse teams. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in a remote setting. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.
