Support DB SQL Engineer - Senior Associate

Role Overview

You will be joining the PAM for Investments development team in India as a Senior Support Database Engineer. Your main responsibilities will include developing and maintaining applications and platforms, focusing on existing systems, building DataMarts, and helping with performance optimization. You will work closely with the Development and support teams to ensure that the infrastructure modernization needs for the application are met. To excel in this role, you should have a broad knowledge of emerging technologies and Database technology trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze programming issues and provide specific solutions to meet developer needs.
• Act as a liaison with project teams on data technologies and solutions.
• Learn new technologies and continuously expand your expertise.

Qualification Required

• Demonstrated strong application development or technical support skill sets in SQL Server or Similar Database platforms.
• Good Exposure to working on Azure Cloud platform.
• Flexibility to changing priorities, open to new ideas, and focus on stakeholder success.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize efforts to deliver maximum consumer value and support key business KPI's.
• Proficiency in Scrum, Agile modeling, and adaptive software development.
• Experience with database architecture, PL/SQL coding, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SQL queries, RDBMS Systems like SQL Server, and experience in a support role/function.
• Familiarity with API Development/Debugging Tools, ETL tools, and source control systems like Git, SVN.
• Understanding of data modeling, designing, and implementing big data analytics.
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud platform.
