Airswift is recruiting for a SURF Engineering Manager to work for a global energy company on a large offshore oil project. The role is based in Paris, France and is a residential position starting as soon as possible for a 12‑month renewable contract.

Project: The Venus Project is a new key project in Namibia, covering the pre‑Project, FEED, Call For Tender, and Project Execution phases of a major very deep‑water greenfield development. The project aims to maximize economic results by optimizing reserves, schedule, cost, and greenhouse‑gas (GHG) emissions while maintaining technical quality and high H3SE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding H3SE&Q; implement and control H3SE rules and requirements within the area of responsibility. Ensure all SURF technical documentation and SURF contractor activities comply with H3SE&Q requirements and highlight any potential deviations. Ensure safe working practices are implemented within the team throughout all project phases.
• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy; promote and enforce the Anti‑Corruption Program within the project.
• Manage and coordinate the SURF engineering team members during pre‑Project, FEED, Call For Tender preparation, Call For Tender review and tender technical evaluation, contract finalization, project preparation, and project execution. Inform, support, and direct personnel in their roles, responsibilities, and objectives as necessary.
