SVP, Director of Project Management (Financial Services)

Overview:

We are partnering with a growing, well-capitalized financial institution to identify a SVP, Director of Project Management. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving critical initiatives across the organization. This position will play a key role in executing strategic priorities and improving operational efficiency across multiple business lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute cross-functional projects across the financial institution
• Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
• Drive timelines, accountability, and successful delivery of key projects
• Improve and standardize project management processes
• Act as a hands-on leader — not just oversight, but execution

Requirements:

• Project Management experience within a bank (REQUIRED)
• Experience at a small to mid-sized bank strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead and execute projects internally
• Must be a hands-on, execution-focused PM (not purely consultative)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Local to the DMV area and able to work in-office 2x/week
