Let's talk about the missions!

Your Missions:

By joining the Software Engineering team at CortAIx Factory, Thales' artificial intelligence innovation center, you will play a crucial role in accelerating and industrializing AI technologies at the heart of critical systems for the armed forces, civil aviation, and aerospace. These challenges include real-time detection and qualification of mobile units, data fusion and situation simulation, detection of intrusion dangers and threats, decision support for operators, as well as monitoring and controlling initiated actions.

Within your agile squad, your missions will include:

  • Actively participating in identifying the specific needs of Thales' various business units or its clients through ideation workshops, and proposing tailor-made algorithmic solutions adapted to each situation. Your role is not limited to answering a technical question but to imagine and design innovative solutions that meet the specific challenges and objectives identified during discussions with stakeholders.
  • Defining and implementing the technical architecture of software components created within a use case, respecting our documented practices and our short development deadlines: a use case is delivered in 2 to 4 agile cycles of 3 months.
  • Actively participating in the implementation and management of use cases.
  • Ensuring the integration of the solution with the production target and contributing to the definition of operational and security maintenance (MCO/MCS) in accordance with client specifications.
  • Supervising and mentoring developers in solution implementation, Craftsmanship software practices, artifact quality, software engineering (code, tests, docs, configuration, CI/CD), and their autonomy.
  • Contributing to the community of practice for Technical Leads, aiming to encourage the sharing of practices and collaboration.
