Job Description

The QA Lead will drive end-to-end quality engineering for complex software projects, establishing best-in-class testing practices, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Devs, Product, DevOps) to release high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy Leadership: Define, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and frameworks for manual and automated testing.
• Automation Focus: Lead the development of automation frameworks for iOSmacOS using Swift, XCTest, and XCUITest.
• Process Improvement: Identify, evaluate, and adopt new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Team Mentorship: Provide leadership and guidance to QA Engineers, Analysts, reviewing their test documentation and conducting training sessions.
• Collaboration: Work with Product Management and Engineering to understand requirements and contribute to product roadmap planning.
• Reporting Metrics: Monitor testing progress, report bugs, and provide metrics (test closure reports, defect metrics) to stakeholders to ensure quality goals are met.
• CICD Integration: Integrate automated tests into DevOps pipelines to ensure continuous quality.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Strong experience with iOS testing (Swift, Xcode, XCTest, XCUITest).
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium).
• API testing experience.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in payments, financial technology, or banking (specifically with SWIFT messaging systems) is highly preferred.

Additional Information

• Salary Range: $90,000 k per annum – 100k per annum
