Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools is Saskatchewan's largest Catholic school division located on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Metis. Our dynamic and growing school division currently employs approximately 2,200 full and part-time teaching, support and service staff. It is our privilege to serve more than 23,000 students in seven high schools and 43 elementary schools located in Saskatoon, Humboldt, Biggar, Warman and Martensville. As well, we co-manage Humboldt Collegiate Institute with Horizon School Division. We proudly partner with First Nations and Mtis families and communities. Together, we have developed a variety of programs to foster Indigenous student belonging, participation and success.
Job Summary:
A position responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and improving technology systems and business processes to support school division operations and education delivery. The System Analyst serves as the critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders translating organizational needs into system requirements, leading solution assessments, and overseeing the implementation and optimization of enterprise systems across the division's broad and modern technology ecosystem.
This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and strategic scope. The System Analyst exercises significant independent judgment and initiative, coordinating across departments and with external partners to deliver technology solutions aligned with divisional priorities. Rather than focusing on direct software development, this position leads needs assessments, evaluates enterprise systems against divisional requirements, coordinates multi-department projects, manages vendor relationships, and drives cross-functional alignment reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer.
Work location is at the GSCS Service Centre at 1402 Fletcher Road, though occasional travel to the administrative buildings (located in Saskatoon) and schools (some located out of town) is required. A valid Saskatchewan driver's license and a safe, reliable, licensed, and insured vehicle are also required.
