Duties

The System Design Engineer works with our internal laboratory to develop treatment processes that are included in customer proposals. This role specifically designs the process flow diagrams, creates the Bill of Materials, and P&ID drawings for our equipment projects. The position works closely with the Research & Development Chemist, Process Engineer, Engineering Manager, Electrical Engineer, Fabrication team, Estimator, and Sales resources to ensure their detailed design fulfills the obligations we have established with our customers and that they are feasible in application of the project. You will take ownership of the designs from the estimation phase through to the as‑built and revisions phase.

Future growth opportunities for the right candidate may include Process Engineer or Director of Engineering.

• Generated schematics (required)
• Industrial or water treatment industry experience (preferred)
• Industrial process design for fabrication or manufacturing or electrical systems
• Higher education with Engineering focus such as Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
