What you can achieve
- Requirement Capture, feasibility and initial design concept definition
- Coordinate the design, development, integration, testing and certification of complex avionics projects
- Demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations in order to certify the new system integration
- Write and review system requirement documents and certification engineering reports
- Write and review System Safety Analysis /Functional Hazard Analysis
- Manage external supplier and liaise with customers, procurement, sales and authorities on a technical level
- Support New Technology and Innovation Projects
- Provide technical guidance to our production and customer support organizations
What you bring
- University Degree in Electronics or aerospace engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in the aerospace, or similar safety critical industry in a systems engineering role designing and developing integrated avionics systems.
- Experience in military aviation and knowledge of tactical systems is an asset
- Knowledge of EFIS, FMS, and FCS systems is advantage
- Knowledge of EW and ECM Systems is advantage
- Working knowledge of FAA/EASA/MAA certification requirements
- Self-starter with ability to work under challenging timescales in a responsive environment
- Ability to deal with different stakeholders in a multicultural organization
- Fluency in English (C1), German will be an advantage

About the area
In this position, you will work in an international working environment, with open-minded, ambitious, and enthusiastic coworkers. You will work on civil and military aircraft (helicopters, fix-wing and UAV) and state of the art mission systems, with the great opportunity to help refine our system development process, getting involved in all phases from conceptual design to lab and flight testing.
