We are looking for a System Engineer (m/f/d) – Network & Server (80–100%) immediately or by arrangement.

Your Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance, and further development of the group-wide IT infrastructure (servers, network, clients, peripherals, Azure Cloud)
• Second Level Support and support in Third Level for more complex issues
• Ensuring system availability, performance, and IT security, including occasional on-call duty
• Analysis and sustainable resolution of faults and error prevention
• Participation in IT projects and independent management of sub-projects
• Evaluation and introduction of new technologies and solutions, as well as automation and standardization of operating processes
• Creation and maintenance of system documentation
• Interface and coordination with external IT partners

Your Qualifications

Technical Qualifications:

• Completed training in IT (EFZ, HF, FH) or equivalent
• Valid driver's license category B required
• Several years of professional experience in operating IT infrastructures
• Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Proxmox) and/or Linux (e.g., Red Hat) is an advantage
• Vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft Associate/Expert, CCNA/CCNP, etc.) are an advantage

Your Tech Stack:

• Sound knowledge in the Windows environment (on-prem servers and clients as well as Azure Cloud with EntraID and Intune) and/or sound knowledge in the network area (firewall, SD-WAN, switch, WLAN) with experience: Fortinet, HP Aruba, and Zyxel Nebula
