Our client is a central IT service provider in the Canton of Basel-Stadt. It provides the entire IT infrastructure for the administrations and drives forward digitalization and modern e-government solutions.

What Awaits You

• Operation, further development, and modernization of our private cloud infrastructure (VMware, Windows Server, Container)
• Ensuring stable operation, including ITIL processes, support, and on-call duty
• Implementation of projects (e.g., VMware Automation, VKS)
• Consulting internal customers and implementing modern IT solutions
• Shared responsibility for security, monitoring, and backup

What You Should Bring

• Completed IT apprenticeship (EFZ)
• Several years of experience as a System Engineer in complex ICT environments
• Very good knowledge of VMware and Windows Server
• Ideally, certifications in the cloud/VMware environment
• Team player with a structured way of working and good communication skills
• Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
