Role

System Engineer Sovereign Cloud (w/m/d)

Permanent position, full-time, location Frankfurt

Responsibilities

You ensure the reliable and secure operation of our private cloud platform and support our customers with demanding technical challenges. You combine operations with project work – from onboarding new customers to implementing complex infrastructure projects.

A modern platform with clear operating processes awaits you, where you will take responsibility and apply your experience in a targeted manner. Your tasks include:

• Technical implementation of customer onboarding and participation in infrastructure and migration projects
• Analysis and sustainable resolution of disruptions in the 2nd and 3rd level environment
• Structured error analysis and development of high-performance and practical solutions
• Administration of complex customer environments with a focus on Microsoft technologies and participation in infrastructure and cloud projects
• Technical contact person for customers, partners, and manufacturers
• Documentation of system landscapes and operating processes

Profile

In addition to your technical expertise, you impress with a structured way of working, clear communication, and a high sense of responsibility. Furthermore, you ideally bring the following skills and qualifications:

• Completed IT training, studies, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in operating virtualized infrastructures
• Profound knowledge of VMware vSphere or a comparable virtualization platform
• Very good Windows Server knowledge and a good understanding of network infrastructures
• Experience in the hosting, cloud, or data center environment is an advantage
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German and good English skills
